I'm not entirely convinced

that it's possible to get to the end of this song without feeling deliriously happy -

I dunno. This week's gonna be tough but for the time being I can't help but feel everything's gonna be fineeeeeeeeeee
ps: kudos to Cupid for hitting me with his arrow at the least convenient time ever, thanks man

still

suffocating.

today

I saw An Eduction, and I can't decide whether or not I liked it ... it was pretty good but the male lead wasn't very well cast.
Also, I can now conclusively say that the book of Revolutionary Road's much better than the movie, and that I'm in love with Marcus Mumford.
And that I have to stop procastinating if I wanna pass year eleven!

stock-standard blog

This morning I redecorated my bedroom a little bit, rearranged things and put up different photos. Now more than ever my bedroom just looks like it's suffering from an accute accumulation of.. stuff. I think I'll take down the photo negatives from next to my calendar, I'm afraid they make me look like a faux photographer.
This weekend should be good, it's my last weekend in my home town until next February! Last night I stayed in because my maths exam's on Wednesday, but I still got some hilarious drunk calls & I finally finished reading Revolutionary Road. In a few hours I'm getting my haircut and tonight I'm going to a part, Allie's sleeping over, and I'm spending the day in the city tomorrow and I think seeing Nick tomorrow night, it's going to be such a good weekend :)
Alright, enough of this, I'm gonna go make my fourth cup of coffee for the day and make a substantial effort on my English assignment.

"I still had this idea that there wa a whole world of marvelous golden people somewhere, as far ahead of me as the seniors at Rye when I was in sixth grade; people who knew everything instinctively, who made their lives work out the way they wanted without even trying, who never had to make the best of a bad job because it never occurred to them to do anything less than perfectly the first time. Sort of heroic super-people, all of htem beautiful and witty and calm and kind, and I always imagined that when I did find them I'd suddenly know that I belonged among them, that I was one of them, that I'd been meant to be one of them all along, and everything in the meantime had been a mistake; and they'd know it too. I'd be like the ugly duckling among the swans"

today

I got my braces off and bought lots of pretty new things to take to Germany, I'm leaving in nine days!
